WELCOME TO THE WOMEN'S REWILD

Tuesday 23rd to Saturday 27th September 2025

in the Entre-Deux-Mers, South West France

Calling in the ones!

Are you feeling called towards a 4 night immersive Women's break away to the woodlands and rolling vineyards of rural South West France?

This is not just a retreat, but an experiential and embodied awakening into deep, connected, Earth wisdom!

Our retreats take the format of an ongoing Ceremony where we invite you to step into the magic of the ReWild portal. We work intuitively, asking the spirits of the plants we are engaging with and the land we are working on to guide us each day and to reveal the ritual and magic to us. This four day sanctuary is a safe, accepting haven for you to be with whatever comes up. A deeply nurturing and thoughtfully held space where  everyone is fully nourished; body, mind and soul.

There is a real sense of community here. Women feeling safe together. Uplifting each other. No judgement. No competition. Shared laughter and tears. Together in this way we can rewrite history... into HerStory... women empowering women, feeling comfortable together to share and be seen and accepted just as we are! This is such empowering medicine for growth and change in all aspects of being.

This retreat is a wild reclamation of all our fragmented parts; the girls we have been, the women we are now and the highest version of self we are awakening to!

Our intention is for you to leave feeling deeply and soulfully nourished.

Previous retreats have included...

Somatic & Ecstatic Dances • Yoga • Cacao Ceremonies • Ancient Breathwork Practices • Nidra • Crystal Singing Bowl + Sound Bath in & around the pool • Fire Ceremonies • Star Gazing • Shamanic Drum Journeys • Beach Combing • Mantra Bead Making • Sacred Tea Ceremonies

"Not your average retreat! This has been truly soul nourishing and activating. Impossible to put into words how well held this whole experience has been -such a gift- Thank you, Lu and Lisa from the bottom of my heart."-L

Your Women's ReWild Retreat Schedule

One of the unique aspects of our retreats is that we co-create and weave practices together as facilitators. This might look like a crystal bowl sound bath played by Lisa combined with Breathwork led by Luisa. We might bookmark a session like this with a tea ceremony at the start and journalling time at the close. The whole practice would be cohesively blended to create intentioned and engaging sessions.

Please find below a selection of things that we offer and weave together in unique ways:

"...I laughed so much I may have peed my pants a wee bit...the energy has been unbelievable...I will think of  you all with a bubble of excitement in my belly and a fizz in my heart!" -J

Food

Food on your Rewild retreat is lovingly crafted by our cook Jenny. We believe that delicious, plentiful sustenance is so important to fuel our days. We are generous with portion sizes and Jenny's cooking is something returnees tell us they come back for!

All the food will be locally sourced, plant based fare (with exception to a few optional additions) with a focus on foods that are seasonal, full of colour, flavour and promoting energy.

We serve three meals including dessert following dinner and a homemade afternoon snack everyday.

Hot and cold drinks and access to an abundant fruit bowl available self serve on demand at all times.

Wine is not included as this is a drug and alcohol free retreat.

Please specify any dietary needs at the time of your booking. We can cater to gluten free, Vegan and low FODMAP diets amongst others. Unfortunately we cannot cook to individual preferences that are not related to an allergy or medical condition.

Accommodation

The farmhouse is a restored 17th century “Metairie”, typical of the Bordeaux  region and is set in 12 acres of secluded land. It is flanked on all sides by vineyards, chateaux and fields. Local rumour states that the Metairie was owned in the days of yore by one of Louis XIV’s many mistresses who resided in the neighbouring chateau!  The grounds are frequently visited by fallow deer, red squirrels, hare and even wild boar. The birdlife is as varied as it is vibrant; spot cranes, cuckoos, woodpeckers, owls and more. The house has a tennis court, an indoor swimming pool and indoor and outdoor dining spaces. There is a fully equipped indoor yoga studio and an extensive terrace with beautiful views.

The rooms are rustic, high ceilinged and very spacious with plenty of nooks to sneak off into for quiet time. The location is on the outskirts of Lignan de Bordeaux in the Entre deux Mers, just 30 mins from Bordeaux Merignac Airport and 25 mins to the city centre by car.

On this retreat 12 guests will be offered beds over 5 bedrooms in the farm house.

 Down Time

A swimming pool and tennis court are available to use at your leisure or wander down for a stroll into the village. The area has great cycle paths, accessible from the house, perfect for a leisurely meander. You may want do nothing more than hang out and connect with the other people in our group. Equally, spend your down time snoozing in a hammock, it’s totally up to you!

"There are no words. Well, maybe a few- Gratitude, love, faith and MORE gratitude...I am forever transformed...Also, really, really f@*%ing Fun!"-H

How do I get there?

Fly into Bordeaux Merignac airport and hire a car or get a taxi to the house. Flights are usually 1.5 hrs from London. There are flights arriving on a Tuesday from Gatwick, Luton and Stanstead airports. Skyscanner is a great website to check flight times and prices. Remember that you don't need to fly back with the same airline you fly out with, mix and match airlines to get the best prices. Please be aware of third party booking agents, it is often best to book direct with airlines in case you need to amend your booking.

Take the train from London via Paris to Bordeaux Gare St Jean and get a taxi to the house. Previous guests have driven, but please make sure you check your route, it's about 12 hrs of driving from London to Bordeaux.

Previous retreat guests have successfully travelled to the venue using all the methods mentioned above. For Taxis we recommend installing the Uber App on your personal device, do make sure the app is up to date before travel.  If you'd like to be added to a travel buddy WhatsApp group please let us know.

What is the cancellation policy?

Deposits are non refundable. Please ensure your commitment to attending the retreat before making a deposit payment. Any other monies paid may be refunded up until a reasonable time prior to the start of the retreat if we are able to fill your space. Please take out a travel insurance policy which would cover you in the event you cannot attend.

Exceptions cannot be made for any reason including weather, injury/illness, travel disruptions or personal emergencies.  We cannot issue partial refunds if you arrive late or leave early, or in the event you decide not to eat some of the meals or skip sessions during the retreat. If France or the country you are travelling from has exit or entry sanctions for travellers, we cannot refund you in the event you do not meet their requirements and are denied travel to or entry into France.

When is it?

Tuesday 23rd to Saturday 27th September 2025

You may arrive anytime after 3pm on Tuesday. On Saturday, check out by 12 noon.

Where is the exact location?

This retreat is in the village of Lignan de Bordeaux. After making your reservation, you will receive the exact address in your booking confirmation.

How do I book?

Contact us on 07867800391 for the booking link.

Can I book a space for someone else?

Each attendee needs to make their own booking. This is to ensure that we collect the relevant information from each person and that everyone agrees to the terms for themselves.

What is the closest airport?

Bordeaux Merignac airport is approximately 30 minutes away. Bergerac airport is just over an hour away. Ile de Ré Airport is one hour and a half drive away.

Can I come on my own?

Independent travellers are more than welcome! Whether you arrive as a solo traveller or with a friend, you will be welcomed into the fold.

Can I take time alone?

You are encouraged to eat with the whole group at meal times but are welcome to slip away to snooze or take your own time to relax whenever you please. There are lots of places to get alone time at the Metairie, from hammocks to comfy sofas!

What is the weather like in Bordeaux in September?

Septembers are usually ambient and dry with temps in the low to mid 20's dropping to cooler at night. This said, the weather is something that we cannot control and we keep an eye on it in run up to the retreat and advise you on what to bring via our WhatsApp chat group.

What should I pack?

We will put detailed info in the WhatsApp group as we get closer to the retreat. We usually ask you to bring a warm jumper and socks for the evening practices, auk to European travel adaptor for any device you want to charge and a refillable water bottle. You don't need to bring towels as we provide these for the duration of your stay.

Why are the deposits non refundable?

We pay fees to the booking platform and to the payment portal for handling remittance. When a retreat booking is made, time is spent processing your details. Equally, when refunds are requested there is admin work involved, and we are charged again by the platforms. In the past we have been relaxed on this and the consequence has been extra hours of work, other hopeful guests being turned away because the retreat was seemingly full and an outcome of financial loss on our side. Unfortunately it was unsustainable to continue in this way and so we now ask that you are fully committed before making a booking with the understanding that deposits are non refundable.

We do understand that sometimes circumstances change and this is why we strongly recommend that you get comprehensive travel insurance which includes cover for if you need to cancel. We recommend getting this in place when you book your spot.
